Morning Star
The Morning Star is the leader and living prophet of the Maiden of Light Temple. It is the job of the Morning Star to lead our Temple, to interpret scripture, to guide the Temple and its members with the knowledge and wisdom of Miryai, and to be the final arbiter in all earthly matters. The Morning Star is the representative of our Messiah Miryai. Christ is interpreted in Greek as "Christos" or "Leader", as the leader of our Temple the Morning Star is our earthly Christos, as Miryai is our eternal "Christa". Miryai is our Messiah. The Morning Star is not a Messiah. We do not believe in earthly infallibility, thus our Morning Star is not infallible. Therefore all decisions must be based on the eternal knowledge and wisdom of Miryai, the knowedge of light. Kenosis The Morning Star is shielded from publicity to preserve humility, to preserve Kenosis, to remove personal ego in the guidance of our Temple and its members, to give clarity in interpetations of scripture, transcendance with Miryai. Kenosis is the ancient Greek word for emptiness. "In Christian theology, Kenosis is the concept of the 'self-emptying' of one's own will and becoming entirely receptive to God and his perfect will. It is used both as an explanation of the incarnation, and an indication of the nature of God's activity and condescension. Mystical theologian John of the Cross' work "Dark Night of the Soul" is a particularly lucid explanation of God's process of transforming the believer into the icon or "likeness of Christ". The Morning Star achieves Kenosis by becoming entirely receptive to the perfection of our Messiah Miryai. To achieve Gnosis with our Saviour the Maiden of Light. The present Morning Star has degrees from the University of London, the State University of New York. He has additional University degrees and certifications from London, New York, and Virginia. The Morning Star is proficient in the arts, education, humanities, finance, religion, and history. He has special research interests in belief systems, learning behaviour, ancient and modern religions, and economic and social systems. |
